This design was created to properly showcase a ‘booklet’ autograph card of Toronto Blue Jays All-Star catcher Alejandro Kirk in a man cave for visitors to see and admire.
For this piece, I drew inspiration from the original card design to create a stronger connection between the card and the artwork, while also adding subtle details that relate back to the Toronto Blue Jays. Within the border, I wanted to feature an action shot of Kirk since the card already shows him in his catching gear. I also included subtle background details, while keeping them dark enough to draw attention to Kirk in motion and naturally lead the viewer’s eye down to the card.
This piece was designed for The Steve Dangle Podcast (SDP) as a gift for one of their live events in downtown Toronto.
The design centers around William Nylander following a memorable playoff quote that became a major talking point on The Steve Dangle Podcast. Alongside the featured quote and centerpiece image, the artwork references the podcast’s “Who Wore The Crown” segment, where host Jesse Blake was known for consistently awarding Nylander the crown. The three hosts are incorporated into the background composition, with Jesse placed on Nylander’s shoulder as a nod to the show’s long-running joke.
I commissioned to create a artwork display based on NHL Hall Of Fame goaltender Gump Worsley's career.
This piece uses a vintage-inspired collage style to celebrate different eras of Gump Worsley’s career through layered historical imagery, textured illustration, and graphic design. The aged paper textures and retro typography were chosen to evoke the feel of an archival hockey program or commemorative poster. Strong vertical colour bands help separate each stage of his career, while integrated statistics and achievement callouts give the artwork a Hall of Fame-inspired presentation.
I was commissioned to create an unique card display for Nate Diaz that showcases the swagger he displays inside the octagon.
This piece was designed around the Nate Diaz Rookies & Stars card, using its bold red-and-white geometric style as the foundation for the composition. Layered star shapes, sharp angles, and a high-contrast palette create a sense of intensity and movement that reflects Nate Diaz’s fighting style and personality. A large central portrait establishes the focal point, while monochromatic action shots and UFC-inspired typography give the artwork a dynamic collectible poster aesthetic.
This piece was designed to commemorate the history of legendary NHL goaltender, Tony Esposito.
This piece was designed to capture a refined vintage aesthetic through muted tones, textured overlays, and elegant gold detailing. The layered composition highlights multiple eras of Tony Esposito’s career, creating depth and a sense of progression throughout the artwork. A soft monochromatic arena background keeps the focus on the goaltender, while the typography, decorative borders, and subtle statistical callouts reinforce the premium collectible feel of the piece.
Designed for a gift to a Transformer's fan, this artwork was inspired by vintage Transformer's comic books.
Optimus Prime takes center stage in this piece, rendered in full colour to create a strong focal point against the darker composition. The background features layered comic-style panels referencing different eras and interpretations of the character, enhanced with halftone textures to reinforce the printed comic aesthetic. A muted backdrop was intentionally used to reduce visual noise, allowing the vibrant central figure and archival-inspired elements to emphasize Optimus Prime’s lasting legacy within the Transformers universe.
To celebrate the World Baseball Classic, this piece honours one of baseball’s greatest legends, Babe Ruth.
A watercolour-inspired aesthetic was used to create an atmospheric, fluid feel, subtly nodding to his American heritage through soft, bleeding transitions rather than rigid structure. A bold splash of red, white, and blue frames Ruth as the focal point, helping him stand out while maintaining a cohesive composition. His career achievements are integrated directly into the flowing background, allowing them to enrich the narrative without overpowering the central portrait.
In celebration of his appointment as Vice President of Hockey Operations for the Toronto Maple Leafs, this piece honours Mats Sundin’s lasting impact on the franchise.
Sundin is placed front and centre in his iconic Maple Leafs jersey, using strong colour contrast to establish him as the focal point. The background adopts a monochromatic, metallic-inspired finish, drawing from the aesthetic of commemorative NHL trophies to reflect his achievements and legacy. Maple Leaf Gardens is featured as a historical anchor to his early career, while layered white stencil imagery of Sundin across different moments in his playing days reinforces his evolution as a player and team icon.
