Light Fixtures
This collection features three lighting fixtures designed and developed from initial concept through to mass production. The project involved the full product development process, including CAD development, prototyping, manufacturing considerations, and supporting technical documentation, with a focus on balancing functionality, manufacturability, and contemporary design.
Koka
Koka is an outdoor lounge chair inspired by the classic Muskoka chair, reimagined with a modern steel frame, removable fabric seating, and ergonomic design for enhanced comfort. The project focused on material research, prototyping, and manufacturing considerations, resulting in a durable, weather-resistant, and portable chair suited for cottage living—whether by the dock, fire, or on the deck.
PACE(y)
PACE(y) is a wearable ergonomic support device designed to reduce strain and prevent musculoskeletal disorders in skilled trades workers. Developed through ergonomic research, prototyping, and testing, it supports users like welders and mechanics by improving posture and reducing fatigue. The final design integrates protective workwear with adaptive back support to enhance comfort, mobility, and long-term workplace safety.
